Pre-Canskate
Program Information
Pre-CanSkate is the basic learn to skate program offered by the club. It is for very young children ages 2-4 and is designed to give them the very basics of skating and to be a fun experience.
All skaters must have a CSA approved ice skating helmet. Bike helmets are not acceptable. Some parents also have their children wear other protective equipment like knee and shoulder pads. Parents are allowed to come onto the ice with the children, however, parents must pay a non-transferable insurance fee of $30. Parents have the option of wearing skates or not. Toys are available for kids on the ice, along with push carts but parents are welcome to bring their own toys/carts/hockey sticks for their children. Strollers are not permitted on the ice at any time.
