NOTES:

Applications WILL NOT be accepted through the mail. You must attend a registration session. Applications are provided to allow you to pre-fill them before attending registration if you choose.

We cannot accept Debt or Credit cards as payment. You must pay in cash or with a cheque.

All Canskate and Precanskate sessions will be held at the Glacier. Your child's class for each session will be posted on the dressing room doors located on the first floor of the Glacier. Please check them every week for any changes due to advancement. For more details on how Canskate, and all or our programs work, please review the Program information on the left.

We are a volunteer organization and may receive as many as 50 calls a day during the registration month and they do take some time to answer, please bare with us. We will do our best to answer all telephone call questions however, an email will be your most efficient contact route.

During skating sessions our office will be open on the 1st floor of the Glacier and in the music room at the Smallwood arena. Notices of session cancellations due to weather will be announced on VOCM and listed on the cancellation link on our website. Notices of any schedule changes due to events at the Arena will be handed out during sessions as well as listed on this website www.skatemountpearl.ca We look forward to seeing everyone at the rink and wish you, and your skater, a most successful season with the Mount Pearl Skating Club.

Badges will be handed out to the children as they successfully complete the requirements for each level. Skaters advancing to Junior sessions will need private coaches. You may contact the skating office if you require assistance.

Pre-canskate and Canskate Parents should note that your child should come to the rink dressed in the appropriate attire. Warm clothing and mittens or gloves are recommended. Snow suits/pants tend to restrict movement and are not recommended. CSA approved helmets for all Precanskate and Canskate sessions are mandatory. Proper skating helmets are required and bicycle helmets are not acceptable.
